Unfortunately, an HVAC company cannot operate from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Evening and weekend availability is understandably expected by customers. A company that leaves its customers uncomfortable over the weekend will probably not have those customers by Monday. Furthermore, a company that expects its Service Technicians to be on call 24/7/365 will probably not have any Technicians. Given these circumstances, we operate under this policy which seeks to balance the needs of our customers and Technicians..

Specifics:

  • The On Call Week runs from Monday through Sunday.
  • On Call days will be posted on the HCP Calendar as an Event.
  • On weekdays, if requested, the Office will try to limit the On Call Technician’s Regular Hours call volume.  No guarantees.
  • If more than 3 calls stack up on a Saturday or Sunday, assistance can be requested. 
  • Technicians can trade days with other Technicians as needed. Inform the Office so dispatching can be updated.
  • $100 Bonus for each On Call Week.

Note: The Office does try to schedule customers who call after hours or on the weekends into the Regular Hours schedule. The vacation rental companies we serve are usually an exception, as they have unique needs and expectations.

Also Note: Except under rare circumstances, maintenance calls will only be scheduled during Regular Hours.
